Doug is an extremely capable and dedicated legal executive and commercial attorney. In his position as Vice President of Legal Affairs for the Americas, Doug was a key member of IPC’s global legal department who advised, led and/or supported cross-functional teams made up of sales, operations, product development and engineering professionals on a host of complex commercial and legal matters. Doug also supported senior management contributing his expertise to reviewing transaction documentation and coordinating due diligence for S-1 filings and a variety of strategic acquisitions and divestitures. He effectively managed legal aspects of integrating acquired companies. Doug brings strong organizational and analytical skills, a keen business sense and attention to detail to every challenge. He introduced many innovations and improvements to legal department documents, processes and procedures. Doug is a valuable and versatile team player with strong experience in the areas of complex transactions, technology contracting, software licensing, IP management and regulatory compliance.
